The Polite Plumber only retains personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. We regularly review stored data and delete anything no longer needed.

What We Store

We store the following data from lead and quote form submissions:

• Your name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Type of service requested
• Your message or description of the issue

We also collect website server logs that include IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited.

Retention Periods

• Lead and quote submissions — retained for 2 years from the date of submission.
• Website server logs — retained for 90 days.

Deletion Process

Data is automatically deleted after the applicable retention period expires. You may also request early deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

Legal Basis

We retain this data under the legal basis of legitimate interest for business operations, specifically to respond to enquiries, schedule services, and improve our customer experience. Where data is no longer needed for these purposes, it is deleted.
